Panda at the National Zoo Gives Birth. Great Story. Compelling and Rich.
Washington – The National Zoo’s female giant panda has given birth to a cub following five consecutive pseudopregnancies (false pregnancies) in as many years. Mei Xiang gave birth Sunday at 10:46 p.m., the zoo said. The staff can hear the cub, but has yet to see it because Mei Xiang has built a large nest in her den. In a news release, Dennis Kelly, the zoo’s director, said he was thrilled. ‘I’m cautiously optimistic as we haven’t seen the cub yet, but we know that Mei is a good mother,’ Kelly said.
Ching… King… is a good mother? Nice try, Kelly but I we know better. I tried to get an interview with him, but they said no, you can’t do that he’s a live bear, he will literally rip your face off. Panda Jerk…
Besides, I heard that bears are attracted by women’s periods. They can smell the menstruation. So these bears will put the whole newsroom in danger. @JerryThornton1
